Bios

• Kathy Dougherty

  DVM

  Dr. Dougherty is a graduate of Auburn Veterinary School and has practiced in Pittsburgh since 1988. She has received the Pennsylvania Veterinarian of the Year Award for establishing the Pet Assisted Therapy program at Children's Hospital. When not working, Dr. Dougherty is kept busy with family activities, gardening, kayaking, and Temple activities. When she needs to slow down a bit, she enjoys reading and walking. She and her husband have two children.

• John Tuttle

  VMD

  Dr. Tuttle is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school he earned a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Tuttle has special interests in cardiology and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Tuttle and his wife have a golden retriever named Chase. In his free time, Dr. Tuttle enjoys exercising, watching sports and spending time with his wife and dog.

• Erin McFadden

  DVM

  Dr. Erin McFadden earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, then attended the UCDavis School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at the Arizona Equine Medical and Surgical Center and spent several years in equine practice. As a Pittsburgh native, she is happy to be home and to be a part of the Duncan Manor team, which she joined in 2013. When not at work, Dr. McFadden loves spending time with her husband, two sons and two dogs, as well as horseback riding, cooking, gardening and yoga.

• Michael Timko

  DVM, Associate Veterinarian

  Dr. Timko was born and raised only a few minutes from VCA Duncan Manor Animal Hospital in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. He received hi B.S. in Animal Bioscience from The Pennsylvania State University. After veterinary school, Dr. Timko completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Carolina Veterinary Specialists located in Greensboro, NC.Outside the hospital, Dr. Timko enjoys hiking with his dog, Duke, as well as running, golfing, and other outdoor activities. He is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
